Sher...

Paani kahun ya aag kahun, haqeekat kahun ya khwab kahun, ek meetha sa dard de ke na jaane kahan gayab hai tu, meri hamnafaz tu hi bata ise mein kya kahun?

Poem: Khoobsoorat ehsaas!

Khushboo rehti jo mere saath hai,
Ek khoobsoorat sa ehsaas hai,
Yu kehne, samjhne ko to sab mirage hai,
Par har roz mere kaano mein ake kehna uska,
Hello, kis duniya mein ho, vaapis aao,
Fir mein bhi roobaro ho uthta hu haqeekat se,
Aur lagta hai, hai ye sach, vo yhi, yahin-kahin aas-paas hai...

Song: Mann bawra na bhoole tujhe...

Mann bawra na bhoole tujhe,
Ghadi pal tu yad aaye ise,
Mann bawra na bhoole tujhe,
Ghadi pal tu yad aaye ise

Kitne saal hue aas-paas nhi,
Dil hai ke ise ehsaas nhi,
Kya hua hoga in Guzre saalon mein,
Tumne mujhko yad kiya ke nhi,
Mein tadapta raha, yad karta raha,
Aaate-jaate har sahqsh ko gaur se,
dekhta hi raha, sochta hi raha,
In logon mein kahin itafaaq se,
Tu guzar na jaye mere paas se,
Hai to ye mere mann ka ik bharam,
Kabse socha hai ik din bataun tujhe,
Mann bawra na bhoole tujhe....
Mann bawra na bhoole tujhe....
Ghadi pal tu yad aaye ise
Mann bawra..... mann bawra....
man............ bawra...............
Bawra mann, na bhoole... tujhe.......
Na bhoole.................tujhe, mera mann bawara.........

When would this journey end?

The time, days, the epoch come alive before me like a flashback, as I enter my town.
How nostalgic have I become as I found...still it runs at a slow pace.
Still the citizens are calm and composed, still they don't believe in competing for lofty careers.
Still the morning here is so peaceful. A sheet of mist has covered everything, even the birds couldn't stay unaffected.
Lethargic they go, like chirping and being active are the last things they would opt for.
The bus takes me through the bumpy roads and it seems like the snakes have taught the chauffeur to drive.
It's left and right moves trouble me, and a felling of dizziness wells forth from within.
And I converse to myself, when would this journey end?

Poem: Kuch yu hua kissa shuru zindagi ka

Kuch yu hua kissa shuru zindagi ka
Raaste naye bante gaye, aur hum chalte gaye

Anjaan they, bekhauf bikul,
Pyaar ke is pecheeda masle se,
Maa ka aanchal hi duniya thi jaise,
Dosti seekhi fir aisi ke poocho na,
Koi majaal na kare jaise kuch,
Keh na de galti se kuch mere yaaron ko,
Jeena-marna sab unke liye ho gaya,
Ma-babuji ko bhool se gaye kuch,
Kam samjh aane lagi unki baatein,
Samjhaate to gussa karte,
Shaayad vo dushman ho jaise,
Doost hi bus sach kehte hain,
Theek hai vahi jo keh diya dosti mein,
Acche bure ka farq kiya darkinaar,
Doosti se aage koi aur duniya hi nhi,
Fir aaya vo padaav ke jisne cchheni,
Raaton ki neend aur sukoon din ka,
Har lamha akela na guzarta,
Saath le hi aata use bus,
Chahe laakh koshish ki maine,
Maani na isne ek meri,
Har shey, har mausam, zindagi,
Har cheez duniya mein,
Usi se shuru, usi pe khatam,
Jeena naamumkin hoga yakeenan,
Agar saath na uska mila to,
Par humsafar nhi banta koi,
Sapnon mein aane se,
Karreb aana, muskuraana, nazrein takrana,
Mehz ek daur hai zindagi ka,
Aage bahut kuch khel hai abhi baaki,
Anjaane hum kho hi jaate un sapnon mein,
Ke jimmedaariyon ka ehsaas sa hone laga tha,
Padhne-likhne se hi guzar-basar hoga,
Samjh aa hi gaya aakhir waqt ke thapedon k sang,
Par safar abhi khatam nhi tha,
Ke meelon ki doori thi abhi baaki
Bus fir kya tha, ek naye safar pe,
Nikal aaye hum bhi, naam tha jiska - rozgaar
Aur bhoolna tha vo sab jise apna sansaar kehte they,
Peeche cchodna pada har sapna jo bus apna lagta tha,
Mirage tha jo Haqeeekat lagta tha,
Kyunki nayi raahon ne kheeinch liya,
Vaakif karvaya ek alag duniya se,
Jahan sab naye chehre, anjaan har shaksh tha,
Magar sab apne lagte hain ab,
kuch waqt saath bitane ke baad,
Maa ka thnada aanchal, doston ka pyar,
Priyasi ki nam aakhein, komal haath,
Mujhe chane wale, nafrat se bhare,
Paas nhi hain magar, fir bhi jeeta hu,
Jo lagta kabhi naamumkin sa tha,
Saans ka jharna bhi kabhi ruka nhi..

Kehne ko bahut door aa gaya hu mein,
Par Doori bahut hai abhi tay karne ko,
Ke safar mein dhoop ho ya chhaon,
Chalna hai path par akele hi tujhe,
Kaarvaan ke bharose ki mohtaaj,
Zindagi kuch aisi nhi mere doost,
Safar kiye jaate hain, ke karna hi hai,
Safar mein rukna tera kaam nhi,
Zindagi safar(Suffer) ka naam hai shayad,
Ke meelon ki doori abhi baaki hai...
Ke anjaan raahein abhi mere intazaar mein hain,
Kuch log hain jinse milna hai abhi baaki,
Kuch sawallon ke jawaab dhoondne hain,
Kuch nayi raahon ki khaak cchhan-ni hai.......

Gazal: Meri baahon mein aake yu toot ke bikhar...

Meri baahon mein aake yun toot ke bikhar,
Ke sadiyon ki doori ik pal mein simat jaaye....

1): Mere bujhe armaanon ko chingari de,
Ke sadiyon ki dhool ne jo hain dhake,
Do pal ka jhoota hi sahi,
Magar mere bharam ko zindagi to de,
Saat samandar paar hi sahi,
Dil se tu door nahin,
Milenge-2 hum zaroor milenge,
Ke sirf dil ka nahin, Ye rishta rooh ka hai.

2): Humnein hi tavajoo di zamane ko itni,
Varna to log is layak kahan,
Ke kuch to fark ho hummein-inmein,
Varna to ye sab kitna aasan ho,
Magar bandhan tooteinge ek din,
Ke ye dil na suneinge kisis ki,
Sadiyon ki khalish mit jayegi us din,
Bus khwaab ko haqeekat hone tak ka intazaar hai....

Song: Sapna mera aazad savera...

Dhoom Dhoom dhoom dhoom dhoom
Tana na na na na na na na na na

Sapna mera.....................
Aazad savera...................
Khole bahein...................
Aakash humara..................
Har insaan jahan khilkhilaye, muskuraye,
Ik aisa jahan hum banayein.............
Ik aisa jahan hum banyein..............

1): Mitti mein lahoo ki khushboo na ho,
Hawa na ho ye rookhi,
Bacche na bhookhe soyein,
Aur hasi rahe na roothi,
Nafrat ka namo-nishan na rahe,
Ghar na jayein loote,
Har jagah, har oor se,
Bus pyaar ke ankur phootein,
Insaan ko insaan samjha jaye jahan,
Ik aisa jahan hum banayein........
Ik aisa jahan hum banayein........

2): Jaag re insaan jaag,
Pachtayega na bhag,
Jaag re insaan jaag,
Pachtayega na bhag,
Jaan lahoo ki keemat,
Aur pyar ke moti baant...
Tu pyaar ke moti baant......
Tu pyar hi pyar baant..........

Blog: The Auteur who outshines failure!

His inception was a flick which doesn't deal with components of - what we call success. Debuted with a movie which dealt with the emotions and feelings of the dumb and the deaf, he made a risky attempt to carry the 'what may be the' result thing on his shoulders. Unperturbed with the result of his flicks, he has that guts to bear his heart on his sleeves.

His characters release that life, energy, that aura which obligates us to think - this person must have for sure lived his characters. Far somewhere form this scintillating light of limelight, devoting and dedicating his life to his work - a man burns with the fire of damn packed passion - is Sanjay Leela Bhasali.

A person who emanates a burning desire every now and then, who rejuvenates his characters, flicks with a mind capturing narrative, he works for the far beyond world, which is away from the horizons of success and failure. The remains of his films stay for a longer period in hearts and souls amongst the very few - who understand the meaning of emotions and feelings. If I were to judge him amongst the directors of all times, I would have conferred him a PhD. in film making. I would have kept him at the pinnacle amongst all the directors of our times.

And once again he's come with a flick which again deals with human emotions - the core of the movie. He uses all that he's known for - the blue tones, the classy direction, the best camera angles, and of course the best - his characters. Acting like a mentor, SLB has sucked all the acting components from the protagonist's body, making the rest of it a non-sensible item, except the face through which he adds and emanates the acting bacteria. The movie is not for movie-goers, but it's for the masses that are human beings.

His subjects has that diversification form the story of a deaf and a dumb, to the saga of a triangular love, from the life of a ruined royal to the story of a disabled student's desires, he is the man who takes on all the challenges 'head on'. The merchant of emotions, the tycoon of feelings does it not for moolah but for masses. "Sabne kaha Paro ko cchhor do........, the famous dialogue from his flick Devdas, still races through myriad minds.

The encroacher makes a studious effort to live his characters, drowns himself in the ocean of human physce to get the heart and soul out. 120-150 is roughly the number of films made in India every year, and among those only few which makes it to be successful - is his films. Once in 2-3 years he comes with a new film but that stays for long, which gets diluted in the veins and blood of the masses.

Love has been portrayed for ages in films, but it's only his films which shows a passionate and difficult love - which finally makes the flick engaging. Having encountered more failures than success in his life, the auteur still goes on to show what his heart says, irrespective of whether the movie will make it big at the box office or not. The "dare to bare all", what heart says gets it's exact meaning reaching at the doorstep of SLB. Our very revered nightingale - Lataji - keeps a special place reserved in her heart for Bhansali. In one the interviews she says that during the Filmfare or National Awards, she continually kept on praying for Black - that it should get the highest number of awards. Like the most, she is one of the avid viewers of his movies and respects SLB a lot for his extraordinary talent and differentiable hardwork.

Silence - is what he thinks is the best thing to express the love, when you don't have to prove love by singing a song or when you don't have to say I love you. And above all the amalgamation of the music and emotions in his films is what makes them "out of this world". He admits that at times it's really tough to make other people or his team understand, why are you fighting to improve something which already sounds just right. And in that respect he took the baton himself this time and spearheaded even the music direction himself in Guzaarish. Having developed that ear for music, he has kept no stone unturned, fought day in and day out to compose such a music which is just perfect. So, music is the another domain he's got expertise in.

Love is a universal concept and to love is your karma in the world, believes the director. And that's the reason he's a "doctorate in love portrayal." If Sachin is the God in cricket, Big B is the God in acting, Lataji is the Goddess in singing then without any exception he is the God of direction and film making. He doesn't make films for money or business, but for the masses. Even if his movies face debacle at the box office, he's the talk of the town (would want to replace my words with) "talk of the world." Always a part of hotly debate, among the critics and the people who don't like him, he's the man who colours his flicks with his own hues, a person having his fingers in many pies.

Gazal: Us darr ko shabdon mein...

Us darr ko shabdon mein dhaalte hain aaj,
Ke koi padhe to seekhe, ye jaane,
Ke gar na tode bandhan, na laanghi seemayein,
To fir aap bhi kaheinge kaash.

1): Tum na aaye, har ek aate jaate shksh ko hum bade gaur se dekha kiye,
ke rok paate kaash unhein hum, Gar ye lab sile na hote,
Na hausla dubak ke chupa hota, dil ke ek andhere kone mein.

2): Kaash kuch keh pate us waqt,
Ke ye dil hadh se guzar bhi sakta tha,
Ragon mein garam lahoo dauta-firta rehta tha,
Vo junoon, vo khumaar kahin na kahin to tha,
Jo aaj gum hai gumnaamiyon ke andhere mein,
Magar haqeekat badal gayi hai ab,
Ke tere mere aaj do juda jahan hain.

3): Waqt ke ret sang tum behte gaye,
Hum purane neem ke ped ki tarah ade rahe,
Kaash ukhad jaate kisi toofan mein hum bhi,
To tod paate sabhi hadon ko hum bhi,
Darr ka ek patla sa libaas na oodhe rehte gar dil pe.

Song - Mohe udne do pankh pasare

Mohe udne do pankh pasare,
Mein jaana us desh,
Sapnon ke kandhon pe chd ke,
Mann bhage kis oor,
Aazadi aazadi azzadi chahe dil,
Aazadi aazadi azzadi chahe dil.

1): Nagar nagar kasbe kooche,
Sab dekh liya sab samjha,
Ik tees uthi hai dil mein,
Pooche kab hogi iski bhor,
Maane na mera kehna,
Ispe chale na mera zor,

Sargam........................
..................................
........................................

Waqt ka pahiya bhaga jaaye, waqt ka pahiya,
Waqt ka pahiya bhaga jaaye,
Mohe kahe chal us oor,
Aazadi aazadi azzadi chahe dil,
Aazadi aazadi azzadi chahe dil.

Song - Kuch to baaki hai tere mere darmiyan

Kuch to baaki hai tere mere darmiyan,
Bus yuhi to nhi khalish dil mein,
Pyaas bujhti nahin kyu,
Jab dariya mere paas hai

1): Ik hujoom sa umdaa hai,
Dil mein aaj yaadon ka,
Suna hai sehar mein,
Kal koi tumsa dikha tha,
Fir tammanayein jaagne lagi hain,
Fir mann machalne laga hai,
Pyaas bujhti nahin kyun,
Jab dariya mere paas hai

2): Teri khusboo ab bhi ragon mein daudti firti rehti hai,
Tere aane ka bharam ab bhi baaki hai,
mere guzre lamhon ke humsafar,
Ik dafa kareeb se guzar ke dekh,
Shaamein berang hain meri,
Aur subho benoor hai,
Pyaas bujhti nahin kyun,
Jab dariya mere paas hai

Pamela flaunts her chassis in Indian attire

Bachan Thakur

Lonavala: The former “Baywatch” babe and Hollywood star Pamela Anderson – known for her uber-sexy and bikini avatars had an exotic look which she had never before. Can you imagine her in Indian attire? Yes, the Hollywood sassy siren had something different on her mind this time. For her entry in reality show “Bigg Boss” on Tuesday, Pamela was seen flaunting her curves in a white sequined sari with a sensuous blouse, jhumkas, bangles and bindi.

She gave up her hot bikini look and made her fantasy ''of donning Indian costumes'' come true – which might have been there on her mind.

Despite being in her 40s, Pamela looked ravishing as she stepped into the house with Yana Gupta`s popular item number Babuji zara dheere chalo playing in the background. Anderson, who has entered the Bigg Boss' house as a guest for three days, greeted the housemates with a noble “namaste”.

As expected, the housemates were avidly waiting to have the voluptuous beauty with them, couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Anderson right infront of them. Overwhelmed with their oomph, Asmit Patel and Hrishant Goswami hugged each other as they had a look of Pam.

With her first visit to India, Pamela landed in Mumbai on Monday night. The episode showcasing Pamela will be telecast on Wednesday night. Bigg Boss - a popular reality show, hosted by Bollywood hunk Salman Khan features contestants like actors Ashmit Patel, Manoj Tiwari, Shweta Tiwari, Sara Khan, Sameer Soni, Dolly Bindra, model Hrishant Goswami, WWE wrestler The Great Khali and former dacoit Seema Parihar.

Blog: The word genius has no synonym!

Don't wonder if the reach and leverage of the world's largest search engine surprises you. According to a survey, above 98 million people surf this search engine daily, which takes the number to more than 2,800 million a month. It's the necessity of the times, it's an integral part of our daily life, it's the largest knowledge storehouse of the world. It helps scores of people to quench their thirst for knowledge and information. The quest comes to an here.

Not only it's become the father of the nation, but the whole world regard it as a father figure. Guess who lends a helping hand to everyone? Who is omnipresent? Who saves myriad jobs? Who relieves tyros – when they seek some guidance at their new jobs?

It vests you with all that can't even expect form God. Heads of some of you might go spinning or some may hit the bull's eye! Guess, or shall I give you a clue? Yes, we are talking about Google mata, Google father, Google devta any many more – this is how we call it in our office!

Seniours and colleagues leave us in the hands of Google mata, knowing we would be safe in its hands. The time was then, when people used to seek their seniours for something to learn. Now the ultimate teacher is here, which is ready to serve you 24x7, if anybody fails to tell anything. You put any kind of iron, wood, stone or any strange item, and it gives you the history, origin, geography, its ancestors, predecessors and everything. Isn't it a genius? Yes, of course it is, and without any slightest doubt.

One fine day – during leisure at my office, I thought to know the meaning of my name and Google directed me to some interior place in United States, with my ancestors, their origin and evolution. My friend Rahul – conquerer of all miseries - got to know the meaning of his name with Google's helping hands.

The Googleness has prevailed all over and noone is complete without it, especially in metropolitans. The guru-shishya legacy has almost come to an end, and Google is the reason. Now the students know that they need not to worry, because if they have some differences with the faculties, their greatest teacher is there to help them out. And if any point of time you find any of your prayers unanswered the there is another option. Google might be the right choice to bank upon.

Google – whose name reminds us of a bizarre search engine, which has everything in its kitty for everyone. It would not be an exaggeration if I say “In this netizens' era, survival depends on Google”.

Leave the Google for a while and think of its founders. You will end up with a fight amongst your thoughts, with no answer. The founders of it must have been the direct envoys of the almighty.

Googleness – a virus affecting everybody, has captured the minds for over a decade now. Nobody remains unaffected by this virus. Everybody has fallen prey to Google. From the very inception studies have been claiming that a mere 8-10% of the human mind's potential has been used hitherto. Even the extraordinaries or the exceptionally blessed people like Einstein, Newton, Thomas Edison have used 10-12% potential of their mind. But when it comes to Google, its founders must have surpassed Edison, Newton and Einstein.
Thomas Elva Edison once said, ''Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.'' In his era he must have been sure that the 21st century will be ruled by some great people – Google founders. And that's why keeping this in mind he must have written this axiom for Lawrence E Page, Sergey M Brin and Eric E Schmidt.

Noted orator, motivational guru, consultant and activist Shiv Khera says, ''Small people talk about others, mediocre people talk about things, and great people talk about ideas.'' The power of these ideas took Google to what it's today. And think about these alchemists – they come with a new idea and it becomes a hit. They are blessed with some bizzare thoughts and ideas, which no other mortal on this earth has. That's why all the tech-giants like Microsoft, Amazon, Yahoo join hands at times to excel Google, but all in vain. Every time their initiative proves to be a disaster.

The great Einstein says, ''Imagination is more powerful than knowledge'', but I wonder what type of imagination these Google guys have.

The unique characteristics of Google, which puts it on the pinnacle, are its speed and accuracy. The father of the search engines beat its peers in speed and accuracy, and leaves its contemporaries miles ago, and it seems that the distance will continue in times to come. In the last one decade no other Google's contemporaries has grown as them. Because you can copy the formulas, work, functioning etc but the mind, imagination, ideas couldn't be copied.

In the book “The Google Story” Microsoft boss Bill Gates says, ''We have to keep a check on these Google guys, they have become a threat to us and we need to control them.” So we can have an idea of what type of influence the Google guys have on the world. Bill Gates – the richest person on the earth has a fright of the Google honchos and so is the case with others. This is the power of Google, This is the reach of Google. This is the influence of Google, because “The word genius has no synonym.”

Blog: Don't dare to think we are green horns!

Countless eyes had been avidly waiting to witness how the host will create a platform for the world. A platform where more than seventy countries were to join hands, to demonstrate the sovereignty of their nations, to vie for the crown at the helm.

The time was then, when India was leaving no stone unturned to prepare for hosting the Commonwealth Games 2010. Delhi – the flamboyant capital of India was to host the games and it seemed to be an unchaseable dream – that India can successfully host the games.

Every news channel, newspaper and magazine had been getting 'good masala' stories, which they could refurbish with a few additives from their mind. It made the scribes' task easy as they came to knew where to gather news from. The alleged corruption charges and the mess across the length and breadth of Delhi kept them busy with some uncovered facts and big stories. The sleazy preparations, the sordid sports machinery deals, the alleged corruption charges, the torn-out roads, the water-filled pit-holes and places, all showed the signs that we are preparing for a ground zero (where we find ourselves no where on the final day).

Along with all the messy preparations, it was a retaliation time for Indra – who poured almost all the water in his storehouse during the preparations. He must have thought of some past ruckus, Kalmadi and his aides would have created to him. And he hit the iron when it was red, and when Kalmadi was the wholly-solly of everything. To make things worst Indra did everything which comes under his jurisdiction.

As the days passed the situation detereorated to become more degraded. India and its CWG bosses received numerous scolds and warnings from the CWG honchos. Mike Fenell - the Commonwealth Games President kept on visiting the games venues – but went back carrying a balloon of anger and destabilisation in his heart, every time he inspected the venues.

The Commonwealth Games soup was turning sour as it got closer to the final day. I could feel the humming sound of the prayers of Delhiites, which they must have performed fervently from the deepest part of their hearts, for the success of the Games as it was not merely a matter of organising games, it was an event which would make the global citizens aware of what India is? It was a matter of national prestige, a matter of Bharat Darshan – which was to portray the real image, the true picture of the birth place of the world bellwether of culture, education, medicine, yoga, science and so many things. Even I prayed intensely sometimes so that we could successfully handle and manage everything during the upcoming mega sports event.

A state of pandemonium prevailed all over and nothing seemed to be moving in the right direction. An agitated Kalmadi would have lost his sight amidst all the odds, I am sure. But there was no escape as it had become an obligation by then. And just before the decisive day it must have brought lumps to myriad throats with entwining fingers, heads bowed in prayers and hearts crying for all the best to happen. India and the world heaved a sigh of relief as we incepted a hugely successful sports event and and so was the end. We hosted the most spectacular opening and closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. It happens only in India – where against all odds, contrary to all expectations, we delivered the best ever games in lieu of any failure – which was for sure expected. All the nations were moved and overwhelmed with the oomph India delivered the games. What grabbed most of the eyeballs were the grand flamboyant opening and the closing ceremony.

It would not be an exaggeration if I use the word jugaad for it, for most of the impossible things to turn into possible here. The nation relies on this single word - jugaad. And the only thing India was not devoid of before the games was the fire and fury. Ours is the only nation where you think an impossible thing and we will make it happen, we will turn it into success – for we have all the jugaads. We have all the means to do anything.

Noone knows how it happened but by and by the situation ameliorated and it seems that in a spur-of-the-moment we were the creators of the the grand sports event. The fishy situation turned into something which the world witnessed as a scintillating event – a pyrrhic gala sports event.

It's flesh and blood to think what could be done and what could not be, but we did it, and what we did was beyond comprehension of a human mind as all the circumstances were against us. Because here we have all the jugaads in our storehouse.

And then they have had to change their statements when they left and Mike Fenell thanked all Delhiites for such a great success of the Commonwealth Games. We proved that we are not the green horns. Everyone went back with a tranquil heart and ecstatic mind. We have the power to change because we have all the jugaads. You come and we will vest you with all the best of everything with best of our abilities. Because we are rich in jugaad we run this nation where you will find people of all cast and creeds, people of so many diverse mindsets, of diverse faiths and religions, where people of different languages can edify you with their hearts.

So don't ever dare to think we are tyros! We have the power. As a verse from the holy Quran says “We create and destroy, and recreate again, in forms of which noone knows – Al WAQUIAH.”
